Performs the retrofitting based on the problem of surplus cold source capacity resulted from oversized installed capacity of chillers, which realizes more energy efficient operation of cold sources by integrating the separate cold source systems of two buildings and utilizing the cold source devices of one building to support the two when the cooling load demand is lower. The result of an investment payback analysis indicates that the average electric energy saving rate is 8.1% and the increased investment can be recovered within one year.
